Many Hands, Light Work

A lot of cool things are happening at the Bearpaw River Brewing Company right now. Actually, it’s getting so busy here that Jake is about to start going full-time at the brewery. Pretty good timing, as we’re gearing up to begin the build-out of our brewing production space. This will involve changes big and small, such as new plumbing and electrical purpose-built for the huge demands of a 10-barrel brewhouse, the construction of a cold storage to house all our kegs full of beer, and another storage space for our mill and stockpiles of grain. We also plan to re-locate a staircase and remove part of a wall. And then there’s the re-model of our taproom and the building of a sturdy bar...

We’ve got several other projects in the works as well. At the moment we’re working with the awesome graphic designer Adele Wiejaczka, from Live Large Design, who is helping us with our brand and our swag. At the same time, Luke Cathie, from Azuki Web Development, has been coming up with creative ways to make our website sleeker, shinier, and super easy to use (especially for a bunch of brewers who know nothing about code!). And then there’s the brilliant Amy, from Moon Sick Photography, who came out to the brewery and who also did a session for us at her studio in Anchorage.

With Jake going full-time at the brewery, and with all the super-talented people who are helping us out on various projects, it’s pretty much all hands on deck here at the BRBC. We love it when a plan comes together...
